CRIMINAL RECORD/VULNERABLE SECTOR CHECKS

For residents of the City of Winkler, please print and complete the following forms and return them to the Winkler Police Service in person to obtain a Criminal Record Check or Vulnerable Sector Check:

WPS001CR - Consent for Release of Police Information
WPS002CR - Vulnerable Sector Consent
WPS003CR - Declaration of Criminal Record

When returning the completed forms to our office, you must provide two (2) valid pieces of identification, one of which must be government-issued and include your name, date of birth, signature, and photo (i.e. driver's licence or passport).  

For residents living outside the Winkler City limits, please see your local police agency to obtain a Criminal Record Check.

Please note that Criminal Record Checks/Vulnerable Sector Verifications are processed in the order they are received, and will not be completed the same day.  Please allow sufficient time for processing.

When submitting your criminal record check application, you will be advised by our office staff when your completed Criminal Record Check will be ready for pick up.  Please note that the Winkler Police Service will only hold completed criminal record checks for 30 days from the date the application is processed.
